Hover Ride
A downloadable game
Hover Ride is a racing game set up in a 80' sci'fi universe (tron/synthwave).
Instead of moving your Hovercraft, you get to use 2 reactors on top of it, and make it move accordingly, making the game difficult at first, but gratifying once mastered.
The current state of the project is early, i do not have any 3d assets for the moment, only placeholders. There is no tutorial, and the UI is not optimized/finished.
The gameplay is solid, even if you dont get over it at first, you just have to see what i can do on the Freak Flag Games youtube channel. I know the game is not for everyone, but i will definitly try to make it as friendly as possible, so if you have something in mind to help new players to understand the mecanics, you can tell me. But do not forget i may have already thought about that, and just didn't do it yet, so there is no need to be aggressive or insulting. I will do everything to enhance the player experience with your help.
Keep in mind however that the game target is mainly Hardcore arcade players who want to score at the extend of their mental sanity, and friends who want to play a split screen game with off controls to have fun at being bad together.
Cheers !
